Daniel is the founder and CEO of 4U Fitness, a personal training studio franchise based in Tampa, Florida. Previously he was a professional hockey player, model, and certified personal trainer originating from Budapest, Hungary. In 2011, with $150 in his pocket and nothing else to his name, he moved to the U.S.

Having been born and raised in beautiful Saint Peterburg, I am a true beach lover and cannot imagine living far from it. I was always athletic growing up, and loved exercising. Endurance running was my first fitness and competitive passion, and continues to be a large part of my life. Hobbies of mine are running, rollerblading, cycling, horseback riding, and enjoying a good book in the sun.

As a trainer, it is my primary goal to educate clients on the many benefits of exercise, and to push clients farther than they ever thought possible through personalized exercise programs. Had they known how to take care of themselves early on, maybe my grandparents would still be with me. I found myself running the majority of the time. Running the hills became my daily practice and helped me develop mentally and physically.

Since youth I was drawn towards yoga. I remember taking my first class when I was 8 years old.
It was tough but the energy in the room made me feel good so I think that’s why I kept coming back. Growing up I was always playing a sport; Volleyball, basketball, softball, figure skating, tennis. It didn’t matter what, I was always doing something with athletics. In college I took a yoga class for credit and because I had to go in order to make a good grade I was there long enough to see the wonderful results and benefits that yoga could bring. By sticking with it my body truly changed but not only that, my MIND changed and to me that was gold. That’s when I knew I wanted to be an instructor. So after I got my Bachelors Degree in Communication from the University of Central Florida my next venture was becoming certified instructor. A family friend lead me to a wonderful person (let’s call her guru) Jennifer, who certified me under her company Pose by Pose Yoga which is recognized under Yoga Alliance. Now the sky’s the limit. There is no end to yoga just a beginning. Your yoga practice will change just as life does and that is so much of the beauty in it.
